About The Author Kristin Kuzik, owner of Virtual Web Concepts, earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix in Information Technology and Visual Communication. Kristin is a mother of two small children, Shelby 4 and Alex 8 and is married to her husband Jason for almost 10 years. Kristin’s husband serves in the U.S. Coast Guard and due to many military moves Kristin had to leave the Corporate World after working in that structure for over 17 years. With the move to a small town in Wisconsin, the job market was very poor and finding a job outside of the home was a difficult one, so in May of 2009, Kristin started her own Virtual IT Business, Virtual Web Concepts as a way of utilizing her background in computer information systems and being able to partner with other Virtual Assistance and positioning her skills and strengths to help small businesses meet their overall business needs.
Kristin has over 10 years of experience in Web Design, including HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript; Graphic Design, working with Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), Shopping Cart Administration working with 1ShoppingCart and Practice Pay Solutions. Other tools that Kristin has experience with are: Microsoft Office Suite, Wordpress, Wishlist Member, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Pinnacle Studio 11 just to name a few.
